| From 2008-jugalbandhi-tour |
The following tracks are from the concert that Snehashish Mozumder (Mandolin), Subrata Bhattacharya (Tabla), Rohan Krishnamurthy (Mridangam) and I performed in Dallas TX on August 24th, 2008.
And the tracks can also be downloaded from the following links:
- Charukesi Alaap (13m18s, 12.2mb)
- Charukesi Pallavi (9m30s, 8.7mb)
- Tani Avartanam (20m41s, 18.9mb)
- Vaishnava Janato (7m06s, 6.5mb)
The other artists and I had a wonderful time at the Dallas concert. It was only the second time that the four of us had played together, but the audience and atmosphere made that evening truly special. Our special thanks go to Suresh Dalapathy and the rest of the SN-OM folks in Dallas who took such care in organizing the program.

Hey Sriram,
I was at your Milpitas Concert - and I loved it. Great going! Looking forward to more of this
I live in Madison, WI and I wish one of the stops on this tour had been here or at least in Chicago. I am learning Carnatic Music on the Mandolin and an avid listener of Prof T N Krishnan's music.
I was there at the concert when you played with your father in Chicago last year, also in support of Sankara Nethralaya and I was thrilled when he stopped to shake my hand before the concert.
I was extremely touched with the rendering of the piece "Venkatachala Nilayam" in Sindhu Bhairavi.
I am very happy to have found this blog and I hope to be able to listen to many more of such concerts in the future.
Best wishes!
Ganesh
